To ensure full compliance with UK law, Rainbowvapes is committed to verifying the age of all customers purchasing electronic cigarettes, e-liquids, or vapour products that contain or are designed to deliver nicotine.

Under the Nicotine Inhaling Products (Age of Sale and Proxy Purchasing) Regulations 2015, it is illegal to sell or supply these products to anyone under 18 years of age.

By placing an order with Rainbowvapes, you confirm that you are 18 years or older. We have partnered with 1Account Age Verification to make this process secure, efficient, and fully compliant with UK regulations.

🧾 How We Verify Your Age

When you create an account or place an order, we will request certain details including:

Your full name

Your billing address

Your date of birth

It’s important that this information matches the details held on official records, such as:

Your driver’s licence

The UK electoral roll, or

The billing details associated with a UK-issued credit card.

This data allows our system to complete a quick and secure age verification before any age-restricted products are dispatched.

🔐 Partnered Verification Provider

Rainbowvapes uses the services of One Account Mobile Limited (1Account) to carry out age verification checks securely.

By engaging with our website and ordering age-restricted products, you consent to Rainbowvapes sharing your details with 1Account and its trusted third-party data providers solely for the purpose of confirming your age.

You also agree that 1Account may securely retain the necessary verification data for future purchases, allowing for a smoother checkout process.

All personal data processed by 1Account is protected under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018. 1Account conducts regular reviews to ensure data is not held longer than required.

For more information about how your data is handled, please visit www.1account.net
.

⚙️ How the Verification Process Works

When placing your first order (or using a new email address not previously verified), the 1Account Age Verification pop-up will appear during checkout.

This secure system automatically cross-references your details against national databases to confirm your age.

If your age is successfully verified, your order will proceed as normal.
If verification is unsuccessful, you will be offered several alternative methods to complete the process, including:

Mobile phone number check

Credit card verification

Electoral roll record

Driver’s licence number

Citizen’s Card

Or, as an alternative, you may email a photo of your passport or driver’s licence to [email protected]
for manual verification.

Once verified, you will not need to complete this step again for future orders using the same account details.

✅ Our Commitment

Rainbowvapes takes its legal and ethical responsibilities seriously. This comprehensive verification process ensures that we only sell age-restricted products to adults, maintaining a safe, responsible, and fully compliant shopping environment.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us uphold these important standards.

If you receive a defective or damaged item, or your order is missing an item, please contact us by email within 48 hours of receipt.

Claims made after this period may not be accepted.

Please retain all original packaging, as it may be required for inspection or return.

2️⃣ Inspection & Eligibility

Once Rainbowvapes receives the returned goods (where applicable), the items will be inspected and tested.

If the product is confirmed to be defective, we will offer a replacement or refund, depending on your preference and product availability.

If the product is found to be damaged due to misuse, accidental damage, general wear and tear, or unauthorised modifications, no refund or replacement will be issued.

If you wish to have such an item returned to you, additional postage costs will apply.

Coils and disposable vapes can only be returned if they are dead on arrival (DOA) and unused.

3️⃣ Return Shipping

While the goods remain in your possession, you are responsible for their care and for arranging the return delivery.

If the goods are confirmed to be faulty upon inspection, we will refund the cost of return postage, up to the value of Royal Mail 2nd Class.

Please ensure items are securely packaged to prevent further damage during transit.

4️⃣ Refund of Original Postage

If your return is accepted, we will refund postage based on our lowest standard delivery rate, even if you originally selected a faster delivery option.
